We are a diverse universe, each one of with a unique set of fingerprints. We’ve grown, prospered and forged an identity from our experiences, our upbringings and our cultures and for most of us, this has been a natural progression through life’s trials and tribulations. However, there are individuals within our universe for whom life’s trial and tribulations have felt more of an uphill battle, for whatever reason. There are certain groups of people who experience disadvantage and unequal treatment due to prejudice and stereotyping related to their characteristics.
