Lynda Barksby
WHO AM I?
Lynda Barksby is the initial founder of Millennium Homecare, and Co-Director. Her knowledge is partially built from experience gained through her commencement in the care sector in 1987.
WHAT DO I DO?
Lynda is responsible for the everyday performance of Millennium, continual investment in the business growth, evolution of ideas and creativity to ensure customer satisfaction and maintenance of a care service second to none.
MY MAIN VALUE
Lynda’s greatest value is Empathy. Empathy is a universal team value that promotes high commitment and cooperation in the workplace. It is the ability to understand another person’s perspective or circumstance whether she agrees with this person or not. Lynda’s empathic personality gives her curiosity and a desire to know and understand others, which is a great strength when providing community care and supporting staff.
PERSONAL LIFE
Outside of work you will find Lynda mostly upside down, in her second career as an Instructor of aerial arts; trapeze, silks, pole fitness, rope and aerial yoga. When standing upright she shares her time between family, Mum to four and Grandparent to three and her menagerie of animals.

Lisa Gale is one of the Director's of Millennium Homecare service Ltd.

Lisa has worked in the care sector for 27 years within care homes and community care. Lisa has been a director of Millennium Homecare Services Limited since 2001. Lisa manages the team to be the very best they can be, to enable home support workers to provide service users with the highest standard of community care.
MY MAIN VALUE?
Lisa values the team she works with, offering support, guidance and encouragement to enable them all to feel valued within this highly organised and dedicated caring team. Hoping this work ethic is then highly noticeable with the care provided.

Beth Barksby
WHO AM I?
Beth Barksby joined Millennium on a temporary basis in 2014, having grown up in an environment of care providers it was almost inevitable that her path would take this route, she is still with Millennium today.
WHAT DO I DO?
Beth originally contributed as a receptionist and over time she has gained knowledge, experience and training to bring her to where she is today. Beth oversees reception, creates allocation of the weekly work schedule to front line workers, completes risk assessments, organises hospital discharges and implements new care packages.
MY MAIN VALUE
Beth takes a great deal of pride in promoting, offering and finding resourceful ways to maintain independence within each individual’s home and with safety at the forefront. Beth has a strong presence about her and is very spirited in her approach and expectations of our service being person centred.
PERSONAL LIFE
If you visit Millennium’s office, you will meet Beth’s much loved companion, Lexi. Not dissimilar in personality to Beth, lively, friendly, chatty, (maybe likes a belly rub) who knows. Beth’s social time is spent walking Lexi, meeting friends and connecting with her family.

Keily Fanshaw

Keily Fanshaw - Office / care co-ordinator
Keily has worked here at Millennium Homecare since November 2013.
Before this Keily attended Newbold Community School, from there Keily went on to study Business Administration with Chesterfield College. This is how Keily began to work at Millennium Homecare undertaking a Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Keily worked on reception answering the second line, from there took on more responsibilities including the main role of reception and now in 2020 is a office / care coordinator.
WHAT DO I DO
Keily's main role is the allocation of service of user visits, ensuring service users are priority, which includes ensuring continuity throughout. Keily is also responsible for the acceptance and allocation of new service users, overseeing reception, and managing daily activities of the office.
MY MAIN VALUE
Keily has a strong work ethic towards her roles and responsibilities. It is important to her that she achieves the highest standard in everything she sets her mind too and in all she is required to complete, thus creating a very solid foundation and contributing vastly towards the stability and growth of Millennium Homecare.
PERSONAL LIFE
In Keily's spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going out for food, day trips, going on holiday. Keily is looking forwards to achieving a qualification in Advanced Dementia care, once gained, she will use this newfound knowledge to support service users as a specialist service.

Joan Antcliff
WHO AM I?
Joan has 15 years’ experience of working in a care home including two years as acting manager. Joan joined Millennium Homecare Services Ltd in January 2005 as a Home Support Worker in the community for four months then she gained the role as a Care coordinator.
WHAT DO I DO?
Joan carries out all Risk Assessments, attends reviews and introduces new members of staff to service users. Joan also conducts spot checks, support workers appraisals, updates files and supports staff with any new moving and handling issues with service users.
MY MAIN VALUE

Georgia O'rouke
WHO AM I?
Georgia O (Big Georgia) became a part of the Millennium team as a Home Support worker in 2005 before applying and successfully gaining a post as Community coordinator.
WHAT DO I DO?
Georgia has played many roles within Millennium before settling into her present position as implementor and overseer of a high standard of personal care, meal preparation and communication out in the community. This role has Georgia implementing and rolling out her attitude to attention to detail, traveling around Derbyshire, meeting service users, their families and friends and our team of Home support workers. In addition, and as a mentor to new recruits you can be positive in receiving only the best care provision and with consistencies in our service, from your team of Home support workers.
MY MAIN VALUE

Georgia Coltart
WHO AM I?
Georgia Coltart (little Georgia). Whilst studying beauty at Chesterfield College, Georgia commenced work for Millennium as a Home support worker in 2010. Upon completion of her course she decided that Health and social care was where she wanted to be. In 2011 Georgia began working in the office alongside her community hours.
WHAT DO I DO?
Georgia presently works Mondays and Tuesdays in admin and receptionist roles, she is probably one of the team you would speak with on these days, as her role sees her communicating with front line workers and other professional bodies as and when required for a multitude of reasons that community care brings to the office.
MY MAIN VALUE
“Compassion”, although this means “to suffer together” it is her intention to reduce any suffering that can be experienced through life’s challenges that we are sometimes faced with. Georgia feels that by being compassionate and forming a good relationship with the person you are caring for is vital and beneficial for their care. Without this, trust isn’t built up, and the correct relationships aren’t formed.
PERSONAL LIFE
Georgia also plays a vital role within the NHS as a Diabetes Support worker (2 days per week). Her time is spent with family and friends, socialising, but most importantly with her son.

Megan Barnett
WHO AM I?
Megan Barnett became Millennium’s main Receptionist in June 2019 before this Megan attended Springwell Community College, and then Chesterfield College where she gained her NVQ level 1 in Health and social care.
WHAT DO I DO?
As main receptionist, Megan is responsible for maintaining good communication links between service users, their families and front line workers through to professional bodies who support the health and well-being of people choosing to continue to live at home with a support network. This vital communication ensures the upkeep of safety, wellness, independence and choice of Millennium service users and those involved in the care Millennium provides. Megan also maintains the smooth running of admin roles with in the office. Megan has recently started care work in the community and is thoroughly enjoying this, as she genuinely likes to help others.
MY MAIN VALUE
Megan is a very positive individual, who has an enthusiastic approach towards the care of service users. Through Megan’s personality it is clear to see that where she can help, she thrives in doing so. Her eagerness to please, learn and achieve is growing with her each and every day.

Mark Hunt
WHO AM I?
Mark Hunt. Mark left school in 1978 when he started his dedicated career to just one brass foundry company, climbing the ladder through a variety of positions and responsibilities until taking voluntary redundancy in 2011. Following a short period of time Mark felt compelled to return to employment, this is where he joined Millennium on a part time basis as a Home support worker.
WHAT DO I DO?
Mark found a niche to use his years of varied experience from his previous employment, in his new role as Millennium’s Policy, procedures and Human resource administrator. Mark is responsible for reviewing, reviving and amending all policies and procedures in line with legislation.
MY MAIN VALUE
Marks has very strong views of accomplishment and can often be heard saying “If a jobs to be done, it needs to be done correctly and to the best of your ability”. This can be seen in Marks structured way of working and implementing.
PERSONAL LIFE
Mark enjoys the outdoor environment, wildlife and animals. His social time is shared out with some of the following interests, wakeboarding, rock climbing, wind surfing, holidays, walking and caring for a variety of pets, the usual and unusual.

Kate looks after the website for Millennium and carries out general administrative tasks alongside her current nurse training.

Kate's main value is to promote innovation within health and social care. Kate believes that there is always room for improvements and is frequently thinking how things can be improved in order to enhance the care provided to service users.

Kate has a passion for travelling, the most recent being Norway. She also has an interest in interior design and has enjoyed renovating two properties during the last few years. Kate also enjoys spending time with her son and going out for meals.

Gee Gilbert
Gee Works predominantly within the Chesterfield area. She likes spending time with horses and pigs and looks after her dad in her spare time.
David Jenkinson
David started in September 2020 and works within the Newbold area. David decided to get into care when his daughter suggested it. In David’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoys cycling, walking and shopping.
Kerry Swift
Kerry works within the Grassmoor, Hasland and Wingerworth area. Kerry decided to get back into care after previously doing it when she left school. Kerry enjoys reading, walking, keeping fit and watching TV in her spare time.
Kimmy Brownwell
Kimmy works mainly in the Hasland area and has 8 years of care experience. Kimmy likes walking her dog Darcy and watching TV.
Gemma Havenhand
Gemma works in the Shirebrook area. She has a farm which has Sheep, Chicken, and Horses. She enjoys spending time with family.
Chloe Challans
Chloe has worked for Millennium since July 2020 and covers the Inkersall area. She enjoys playing football, spending time with family and has a pet cat and dog.
Joanne Rawson
Joanne works within the Newbold area. She has previous experience of working within a special needs school and working for Derbyshire County Council. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, managing a blog, walking, yoga, traveling and writes romantic novels.
